MEFELO'24 - MEF University English Language Olympics

MEFELO’24 (2024)

MEFELO’24 brought together 255 high school students from 40 schools across Türkiye, all eager to put their English skills to the test. After the preliminary test challenge, the top six students from three schools (Üsküdar American Academy, MEF Schools, FMV Işık Schools) secured their place in the final stage at MEFTEK (MEF Teknoloji Geliştirme Merkezi), where they competed for the MEFELO’24 prizes.

This year’s competition welcomed students from five regions and 15 provinces, including İstanbul, Bursa, Kocaeli, Balıkesir, Sakarya, Çanakkale, İzmir, Manisa, Denizli, Burdur, Kahramanmaraş, Konya, Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep, and Kırklareli. The diversity of participants reflected MEFELO’s growing impact in encouraging English language proficiency across the country.

The final round challenged students with a series of English-based tasks that tested their language proficiency, critical thinking, and communication skills. Here are the final results:
